Why are we promoting paid subscriptions?
We need your support and this is how you can help us.
How can you support the project?
You may:
Book a safari with On Track Safaris that has launched the On Track Foundation, funding the Ingwe Leopard Research. All the benefits made by On Track Safaris go directly to the On Track Foundation in order to fund our project. Read below for discounts!
Donate directly to the On Track Foundation.
Subscribe to our newsletter.
The first three options are the ones that make the project viable financially and on the long run. Currently, only one person runs the Ingwe Leopard Research. Yet it is an ambitious project. It will prove how citizen science and most specifically how the safari industry can help saving endangered species and support wildlife conservationists and organisations.
What is behind the scene?
Running such project alone requires acquiring and covering multiples skills that would normally be carried by a whole team:
Networking (e.g. contact reserves & lodges, partner with other organisations and universities)
Communication (e.g. social media, blog posts)
Data analysis (e.g. statistical and modelling softwares, geographic information system, artifical intelligence platforms)
Scientific reporting (e.g. non professional reports, literature review, publications)
Mentoring (e.g. students)
Funding (e.g. exploring new opportunities such as sell of goodies, funding applications)
In order to increase support and hopefully grow the team one day, we have decided to set paid subscription for some of our newsletter.
But first, what will always remain free?
Our monthly newsletter. You will read about project progress, exciting developments, new partners, number of sightings and photographs submitted and much more!
Testimonials of partners, professional guides, guests who have become citizen scientists.
Leopard photographs submitted on the mobile app and taken by the camera traps.
What will you gain for financially supporting us?
